How Our Rent & Utilities Work
The price in our advertisement represents an "all-in" estimate including utilities and Wi-Fi. To ensure complete transparency, we use a Base Rent + Shared Utilities model:
- Fixed Base Rent: This core amount remains unchanged throughout your stay.
- Variable Utilities: Actual monthly utility costs are divided equally among roommates. We publish real bill breakdowns directly on utilitybills.ca so you can review historical trends (typically higher in winter, lower in summer).
Your First Month Guarantee
Next month's total will be very close to the "all-in" estimate you saw. On the 9th of next month, we will send you the itemized utility statement. You will have two full weeks to review the figures. If the overall total exceeds your personal budget, you are under no obligation to renew or accept the rental agreement for the following month.
